In its comeback, your friend’s name is Lido, and is still waiting for all of you to come back and leave a new chapter and discover a more diverse experience. It will not be just about movies, but music, art, and other shows, that will now be ready for you to harvest their meanings and welcome your own narratives because Lido Connect isn’t just a place, but also one of your friends.
Concept:
The first floor, or the Opportunity Area, is an area where the general public, including students, with abilities in various fields such as playing music, singing, acting, dancing, or other abilities, the opportunity to showcase their abilities in public. This project will be held once a month on Saturdays and Sundays.
The space of opportunity project started in June 2019 until the present, and has been ongoing for 1 year and 8 months, with 428 individual and group applicants and approximately 244 bands were selected to perform.

ชั้น 1 พื้นที่แห่งโอกาส คือ
พื้นที่ที่เปิดโอกาสให้บุคคลทั่วไปทั้งนักเรียน นักศึกษา ที่มีความสามารถในด้านต่างๆ อาทิ การเล่นดนตรี ร้องเพลง แสดงละคร การเต้น หรือความสามารถอื่นๆ ได้มีพื้นที่ในการออกสู่สาธารณะ โดยโครงการนี้จะจัดขึ้นเดือนละ 1 ครั้งในวันเสาร์และอาทิตย์
โครงการพื้นที่แห่งโอกาสเริ่มต้นมาตั้งแต่เดือนมิถุนายน 2562 จนถึงปัจจุบัน เป็นเวลา 1 ปี 8 เดือน โดยมีผู้สมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการทั้งแบบเดี่ยวและแบบกลุ่มจำนวน 428 วง และได้รับคัดเลือกเข้ามาแสดงประมาณ 244 วง

History & Background: The Digital Arts Practice Center Project, or FAAMAI (Fine and Applied Arts Multidisciplinary Art Innovation Program), is a project initiated by faculty members in the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, where funding and administrative assistance were received from the Empowering Chulalongkorn University, The 2nd Century Fund (C2F) project, under the supervision of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University The cooperation agreement was signed with the Property Management Office (PMCU), to provide assistance regarding the location where it is now located in the area adjacent to the Chulalongkorn Centennial Park, as well as, the provision of basic utilities. Pico (Thailand) Public Company Limited also helped in the establishment of the FAAMAI giant dome structure, which measures 35 meters in diameter and has a height of 17.5 meters, and is considered the largest dome structure in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region. It is located at the back of the Chulalongkorn Centennial Park and provides knowledge about bringing new technologies to works of art making digital art more interesting and developing a body of knowledge in digital art through various activities such as competitions and various workshops.
FAAMAI Digital Arts Hub, or the “dome of art and creativity”, aims to transfer knowledge regarding the integration of new technology with art, thus making it more interesting. Moreover, it aims to jointly develop the body of knowledge in digital art through various activities such as competitions and various workshops, etc., with the objective to be used as a center of knowledge and digital artworks of students, researchers, Thai and foreign artists, as well as, the general public, to stimulate to activities in the community, build alertness and participation, and instill pride for the local community, while at the same time, generate income for the shops and restaurants in the community as well.

ประวัติความเป็นมา : โครงการศูนย์ปฏิบัติการศิลปกรรมดิจิทัล หรือ FAAMAI (Fine and Applied Arts Multidisciplinary Art Innovation Program) เป็นโครงการที่ริเริ่มโดยคณาจารย์ในคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ได้รับการสนับสนุนด้านเงินทุนและความช่วยเหลือด้านการบริหารจัดการจากโครงการสร้างเสริมพลังจุฬาฯ กองทุนศตวรรษที่ 2 (C2F) ภายใต้การดูแลของคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ได้ลงนามความตกลงความร่วมมือกับสำนักงานจัดการทรัพย์สินจุฬาฯ (PMCU) ซึ่งให้ความอนุเคราะห์เรื่องสถานที่ตั้ง ณ บริเวณพื้นที่ด้านข้างอุทยาน 100 ปี จุฬาฯ ตลอดจนสาธารณูปโภคพื้นฐาน และบริษัทปิโก (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด (มหาชน) ให้ความอนุเคราะห์ในเรื่องโครงสร้างโดมยักษ์ FAAMAI Dome ซึ่งเป็นโดมเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง 35 เมตร ความสูง 17.5 เมตร เป็นโดมที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย และเอเชียแปซิฟิก ตั้งอยู่บริเวณด้านหลังอุทยาน 100 ปี จุฬาฯ รวมทั้งถ่ายทอดความรู้เกี่ยวกับการนำเทคโนโลยีใหม่ ๆ มาผสานกับผลงานศิลปะ ทำให้ดิจิทัลอาร์ตน่าสนใจมากยิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ด้านดิจิทัลอาร์ตผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เช่น โครงการประกวด และเวิร์คช็อปต่าง ๆ

The gallery and creative learning space is operated by the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University.
History: Art for the community is initiated and operated by the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, which creates activities and projects for the community and people around the university.
Background: Due to the lack of space or an area for displaying the works of students, teachers, and alumni, has resulted in obtaining cooperation from various fields with internal and external agencies to develop students’ skills that can actually work with the local community and the public in providing arts and culture academic services for society to respond to Chulalongkorn University’s policy of returning profits to society.
Concept: Support startups in arts and culture in applying creative knowledge to commercial works of art, based on the cooperation model from the community that is of the same generation and collaborate with the new generation to inherit art conservation knowledge and adapt them to contemporary art pieces.
Concepts in the use of art therapy process: a gallery displaying works of students, teachers, alumni, and famous artists to disseminate creative works and continuously make improvements to innovative ecological spaces.
Learning exchange center, coordinating between artists and researchers from around the world, as well as, professionals in arts and culture.
The Center for Innovation in Arts collaborates on a multidisciplinary basis, i.e. science and art in various fields of design, material science, performance, music, etc.
The CU Art4C, which is supported by the CU Innovation Hub and the Property Management Office, is a 3-storey, 3-connected commercial building where the 1st floor is a coffee shop, the 2nd floor houses an art exhibition area, and the 3rd floor is a multi-purpose space for organizing workshops, seminars, and lectures.

ที่มา : เนื่องจากขาดแคลนพื้นที่ในการปฏิบัติการ หรือพื้นที่แสดงผลงานของนิสิต อาจารย์ และนิสิตเก่า โดยได้ความร่วมมือด้านต่าง ๆ กับหน่วยงานภายในและภายนอก เพื่อพัฒนาและฝึกทักษะของนิสิต ทำงานกับชุมชนและสาธารณะได้จริง งานบริการวิชาการทางศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมแก่สังคม เพื่อตอบโจทย์นโยบายของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยในการคืนกำไรให้สังคม
คอนเซ็ป : สนับสนุน Start Up ทางศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม ประยุกต์ใช้ความรู้เชิงสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปกรรมเชิงพานิชศิลป์ รูปแบบความร่วมมือจากชุมชนที่เป็นคนรุ่นเดิม ทำงานกับคนรุ่นใหม่ มีการสืบทอดความรู้ อนุรักษ์เชิงศิลปะ และปรับใช้ในความเป็นร่วมสมัย
แนวคิดในการใช้กระบวนการศิลปะบำบัด : แกลเลอรี่จัดแสดงผลงานของนิสิต อาจารย์ ศิษย์เก่า และศิลปินที่มีชื่อเสียง เพื่อเผยแพร่ผลงานสร้างสรรค์ ปรับพื้นที่เชิงระบบนิเวศนวัตกรรมอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ศูนย์รวมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ ประสานงานระหว่างศิลปินทั่วโลก และนักวิจัย รวมถึงบุคลากรสายอาชีพต่าง ๆ ทางศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม
ศูนย์นวัตกรรมทางศิลปะ ทำงานร่วมกันแบบสหสาขา วิทยาศาสตร์ ร่วมกับศิลปะแขนงต่าง ๆ ด้านการออกแบบ วัสดุศาสตร์ การแสดง ดนตรี เป็นต้น

Project Objectives:
- To create an improved visibility aid that can benefit drivers and contribute to the creation of a livable society.
- To create good pedestrian behavior for crossing the crosswalk, and help reduce road accidents.
- To promote a good image for the Siam Square-Suanluang-Samyan area.
- To provide opportunities for students in the creation of works that can be beneficial to the community.
Project details:
It is a project in which the PMCU works with various organizations by allowing students from the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, to jointly come up with unique crosswalk designs at 8 locations within the Siam Square / Suanluang-Samyan area, as well as, within the Chulalongkorn University campus. The pilot zebra crossing was designed by students from the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program majoring in Visual Communication Design (International Program), under the Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University. The crosswalk has already been completed and 7 other crosswalks are in the design contest stage and is expected to be completed by 2021.

เป็นโครงการที่ PMCU ร่วมกับองค์กรต่างๆ โดยให้นิสิตคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ร่วมออกแบบดีไซน์ทางม้าลายทั้ง 8 จุด ทั้งพื้นที่ สยามสแควร์ / สวนหลวง-สามย่าน และในพื้นที่ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งจุดนำร่องได้ออกแบบโดย : Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University หลักสูตรศิลปกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาการออกแบบนิเทศศิลป์ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ) ภาควิชาการออกแบบอุตสาหกรรม คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และได้จัดทำทางม้าลายเรียบร้อยแล้ว สำหรับทางม้าลายอีก 7 จุดอยู่ในขั้นตอนการประกวดแบบโดยจะแล้วภายในปี 2021

Street art in the city center is the result of the collaboration of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University with the Property Management Office (PMCU), Uraipanich Company, and 50 well-known local and internationally renowned artists, cooperatively created street art for the Suanluang-Samyan and Siam Square community on the occasion of the 36th Anniversary of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University. The artworks were created on community buildings and walls around the Chulalongkorn University and reflect the local community life through an open-air art museum where it is accessible to everyone.
