On March 20, 2021, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapon Nimmanphatcharin, Chief Executive of Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wisanu Subsompon, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, and DEPA’s executive team, jointly participating in the opening of the SMART ECONOMY SHOWCASE smart economy exhibition prototype at Siam Square One in Pathumwan district.
At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wisanu Subsompon gave a special lecture on “Development of the Samyan Smart City”, where developing the Chulalongkorn University area and transforming it into a smart city must take into account the well-being and quality of life of the local people (Human Centric), and at the same time, analyze the needs and solutions through the use of technology that meets those needs appropriately by designing the space to have the necessary elements.
Smart Environment, Smart Mobility, Smart Energy, Smart Living, Smart Economy, and Smart Governance, with a vision to develop the Samyan Smart City into a neighborhood that creates value for communities and society that is the combination of the quality of life and businesses, aiming to achieve maximum benefits for the sustainable living of people of all genders and ages.
