The gallery and creative learning space is operated by the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University.
History: Art for the community is initiated and operated by the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, which creates activities and projects for the community and people around the university.
Background: Due to the lack of space or an area for displaying the works of students, teachers, and alumni, has resulted in obtaining cooperation from various fields with internal and external agencies to develop students’ skills that can actually work with the local community and the public in providing arts and culture academic services for society to respond to Chulalongkorn University’s policy of returning profits to society.
Concept: Support startups in arts and culture in applying creative knowledge to commercial works of art, based on the cooperation model from the community that is of the same generation and collaborate with the new generation to inherit art conservation knowledge and adapt them to contemporary art pieces.
Concepts in the use of art therapy process: a gallery displaying works of students, teachers, alumni, and famous artists to disseminate creative works and continuously make improvements to innovative ecological spaces.
Learning exchange center, coordinating between artists and researchers from around the world, as well as, professionals in arts and culture.
The Center for Innovation in Arts collaborates on a multidisciplinary basis, i.e. science and art in various fields of design, material science, performance, music, etc.
The CU Art4C, which is supported by the CU Innovation Hub and the Property Management Office, is a 3-storey, 3-connected commercial building where the 1st floor is a coffee shop, the 2nd floor houses an art exhibition area, and the 3rd floor is a multi-purpose space for organizing workshops, seminars, and lectures.
