PMCU joins alliance to install electric motorcycle battery replacement stations in the Samyan area.

Mr. Pipit Aneaknithi, Managing Director Kasikorn Bank (KBANK), along with Mr. Wanchai Leenawattana, CEO of H Sem Motor Co., Ltd., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wisanu Subsompon, Vice President for Supervision of the Property and Physical Management Office, Chulalongkorn University, and Mr. Khakkhasith Wiboonwatt, Operations Manager, Foodpanda Thailand, in their continuing effort to help reduce costs for food delivery riders and support small users who are affected by the financial crisis prompted by Covid-19 pandemic, to be able to generate additional income from renting electric motorcycles (EV Bike) for their professions. This is one of the tools that will help accelerate the electric motorcycle society forward in Thailand, and at the same time, help to reduce pollution and be environmentally friendly through the use of clean energy vehicles.

Simultaneously, the alliance launched a promotion for renting an electric motorcycle through the K+ market app for only 90 baht per day for a 30-day rental period. The EV bikes can also be brought to implement a battery swap at the pilot H SEM Power Station located at 12 Kasikorn bank branches scattered throughout Bangkok and the surrounding vicinities. Moreover, PMCU is also a partner to install battery swapping stations at the CU Sports parking lot, as well as, providing support for the use of electric motorcycles for CU personnel, shops, and motorcycle taxi queues in the PMCU area. While the Foodpanda platform also joined in the promotion through bike rental discounts, providing special promotions for its food delivery riders when renting an electric motorcycle through K+ Market.
